It’s no secret that massive change is hitting Dana Point Harbor, but despite common misconceptions, businesses want residents to know the grounds are as alive as ever this summer.
At the heart of the harbor sits Dana Wharf Sportfishing & Whale Watching, the first business to operate in Dana Point Harbor. Founded by the late Don Hansen, Dana Wharf remains family-owned today under Hansen’s daughter, Donna Kalez, who describes herself as an “anchor tenant” and said her father spent years pushing for improvements at the harbor.
